Join The Home Depot as an Analyst in Online Merchandising Solutions. You will drive process improvement and supplier engagement for the rapid assortment expansion on hd.com and support data initiatives and troubleshooting for product listings.
Key Responsibilities
Attend merchant meetings and facilitate online merchandising system (OMS) requests (10%).
Lead assortment growth projects, status reporting, item troubleshooting, and attribute maintenance; act as subject‑matter expert for the assigned product category (40%).
Measure program effectiveness against metric targets, develop and execute enhancements, and optimize business processes (30%).
Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues (e.g., SKU alignment, product availability), and author clear process and training materials (20%).
Direct Manager / Reports This position reports to the Manager, Online Merchandising Solutions and has no direct reports.
Travel, Physical, and Working Conditions
Travel: typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Physical: most of the time is spent sitting; light lifting may be required on rare occasions.
Working Conditions: located in a comfortable indoor area; no travel required for day‑to‑day duties.
Minimum Qualifications
18 years of age or older.
Legally permitted to work in the United States.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
1 year of work experience in a merchandising or supply‑chain role.
Preferred Qualifications
Proven customer service record.
Experience in vendor or supplier management.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Data analysis and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access.
Knowledge of merchandising assortment and product classification.
Understanding of Home Depot store product systems.
