Overview ACS Professional Staffing is looking for an employee to work on-site with our client. The Business Systems Analyst 2 position will support the Energy Management Systems organization by performing cybersecurity compliance processes, documentation, and reporting tasks. This full-time position is open to candidates located in Vancouver and Spokane WA.

Pay range Pay range:

$43.18 - $61.69

Responsibilities

Work associated with this position will be directly related to business process support for systems change management, process and compliance requirements for the organization.

Review and validate that configuration management policies and procedures provide thorough requirements, traceability through version release and adequate documentation to support system operation and maintenance.

Support organization change process and configuration management efforts.

Serve as a process point of contact for the organization.

Define, develop, and document new processes and procedures as required.

Support process and procedure roll-out.

Support ongoing compliance with those processes and procedures.

Assist with developing and documenting processes and procedures to support NERC (North American Electric Reliability Corporation) Mandatory Reliability standards CIP (Critical Infrastructure Protection) and Department of Energy NIST/FISMA (National Institute of Standards and Technology/Federal Information Security Management Act) security requirements.

Assist with developing training materials and job aids to support above.

Support the development of necessary documentation to support reporting and audit requirements.

Provide quality assurance for organization to verify compliance to above standards and guidelines.

Provide support to NERC annual certification process and any other spot audit or compliance request.

Facilitate Jira administration and ticket management for JDE team.

Facilitate Issue/Task tracking in a DevOps environment using Atlassian and other tools.

As requested by the team leader, provide support for meetings, including scheduling and facilitation.

Prepare and conduct program presentations, in-house and client training, and functional education.

Develop and present recommendations and supporting analysis for management decisions.

Communicate to management and co-workers by telephone, written form, e-mail, or in person.

Mark documents and maintain filing system(s), files, emails, and records in accordance with compliance requirements. Share and disperse documents only to appropriate personnel. Mark and maintain all official records in accordance with the Information Security (INFOSEC) and Information Governance & Lifecycle Management (IGLM) standards and procedures. Validate official records are accurately maintained for auditing purposes.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer/information technology, business systems, engineering or a related technical field is preferred.

5 years of directly related experience is required with a bachelor’s degree in applicable fields.

7 years of directly related experience is required with an associate degree in applicable fields.

9 years of directly related experience is required without a degree or degree in applicable fields.

1 year experience in all aspects of the software development lifecycle for a high availability environment.

1 year of experience in a DevOps environment using Atlassian or similar tool.

1 year experience in the use of change and configuration management tools/systems.

1 year experience in any aspect of the software development lifecycle for a utility control center environment.

1 year of previous compliance and/or audit support experience, particularly for NIST/FISMA and NERC-CIP.

1 year previous compliance and/or audit support experience.

1 year experience with process development and roll-out.

Experience developing process/procedures to support compliance efforts.

Experience with the design and implementation of security standards, policies or procedures in a high availability environment.

Valid U.S. Driver’s License is required.
