We’re now hiring our first dedicated marketing professional - a highly creative, resourceful, and fun marketer who will bring our brand to life across every channel. This role offers a ground-floor opportunity to make a lasting mark on our brand and grow the marketing function from scratch. It is an opportunity to shape PayBright’s marketing presence, own our brand voice, and create experiences that energize our agents and partners.You’ll have the freedom to bring bold ideas to life while helping shape how thousands of agents and merchants experience PayBright. Responsibilities Digital & Design: Manage and update PayBright’s website (Squarespace/WordPress), launch new pages, and lead design refreshes. Create branded materials including flyers, banners, and collateral for agents and partners. Develop social media content (graphics, videos, posts) and engage daily to grow visibility. Produce short-form videos and creative content that showcase PayBright’s culture, agents, and brand story. Events & Experiences: Own the trade show experience from start to finish: logistics, booth design, swag, pre-show campaigns, and on-the-ground execution. Partner with venues and planners to coordinate PayBright’s annual President's Club trip. Support monthly webinars with polished design and promotional graphics. Capture photos and videos at events for use in social and marketing campaigns. Communications & Content: Design and deliver monthly newsletters and recruiting email campaigns. Manage ongoing email communications to agent prospects and partners. Collaborate with our external PR consultant to support announcements, press opportunities, and media outreach. Brand & Strategy: Champion PayBright’s brand voice and design standards; create and maintain brand guidelines. Monitor performance of marketing campaigns, emails, and social media; use insights to make improvements. Manage external vendors (designers, printers, videographers) as needed. Help lay the foundation for a scalable marketing function as PayBright grows. Qualifications Required: Champion PayBright’s brand voice and design standards; create and maintain brand guidelines. Bachelor’s Degree 3+ years of experience in marketing, design, or event management (agency or in-house) Strong portfolio of creative design work (link required in application) Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar Website management experience (Squarespace, WordPress, or similar) Strong writing and editing skills for email, newsletters, and social captions Experience creating video content for social media or marketing campaigns Experience planning events, trade shows, or promotional campaigns Highly creative, energetic, and detail-oriented, with a “make it fun” mindset Comfortable juggling multiple projects and deadlines with minimal direction Positive, collaborative attitude with strong ownership mentality Ability to work on-site at our Raleigh HQ (not remote) Ability to travel up to 25% for trade shows and events Preferred: Experience in merchant services, fintech, or payments industry Familiarity with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Constant Contact, HubSpot, etc.) and social scheduling tools Comfort working on Mac OS / MacBook Company Culture At PayBright, we pride ourselves on honesty, tenacity, and reliability—values that guide everything we do.
