Overview

Senior Software Development Engineer – Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions Inc. – United States (US). Remote work allowed within the USA. Responsibilities

Build and enhance AIOps systems design and implement components of the AIOps platform that leverage ML/AI for anomaly detection, event correlation, and incident automation. Collaborate with SREs and DevOps teams to address system reliability issues through intelligent monitoring and automated remediation. Work with large datasets (logs, metrics, traces) to develop pipelines and ensure data quality for observability and predictive analytics. Contribute to workflows that reduce manual operational tasks, building self‑healing and auto‑scaling solutions. Participate in design discussions with architects, senior engineers, and product teams to align solutions with organizational needs. Evaluate new frameworks and integrate incremental improvements into the AIOps ecosystem. Take ownership for features from design through deployment and support, ensuring quality and reliability. Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, or related field. 8+ years of programming experience with Python, Golang, or related languages. Proficiency in shell (e.g. bash) scripting. Experience with virtualization (VMs, hypervisor, Software‑Defined Network). Strong experience with Containers, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines using Gitlab and Jenkins. Hands‑on experience with Cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure). Good understanding of REST APIs and common platform tools including Kafka, SQL, Prometheus, Redis, PostgresDB/MongoDB. Knowledge of networking protocols, standards, and technologies including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, IPSec, network namespaces, routing and switching. Experience working with Linux‑based systems, including system administration, troubleshooting, shell scripting, and understanding of key OS concepts such as process management, networking, and file systems. Adaptability to dynamic and fast‑paced environments, proactive learner. Preferred Skills

Background in log analysis, time‑series forecasting, or unsupervised anomaly detection. Strong understanding of observability stacks (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry). Knowledge of Kubernetes, container orchestration, and service mesh architectures. Exposure to ITSM/ITIL processes and how they integrate with AIOps. AI/ML data engineering experience. Compensation

Santa Clara: $191,200‑$286,800 New York: $174,800‑$262,200 Plano: $162,000‑$243,000 Benefits
