Database Engineers / Administrators – Multiple Levels – Clearance and Polygraph Required
A role for experienced database engineers in our federal contract environment.
Pay Range Base pay range: $105,000 – $240,000 per year.
Security & Citizenship U.S. Citizenship, TS/SCI clearance with active polygraph, and IAVA compliance are required.
Required Qualifications
TS/SCI clearance with active polygraph.
U.S. Citizen.
Minimum 2 years of recent, directly related database engineering/administration experience.
Experience levels by seniority: 6+ years (Level 01), 9+ years (Level 02), 12+ years (Level 03), 15+ years (Level 04).
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Proficiency in Oracle Database Administration, including replication technologies.
Database security, performance tuning, and monitoring experience.
Database troubleshooting and problem resolution.
Installation, configuration, and upgrade of RDBMS software.
Procedural languages such as PL/SQL.
Daily administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of system databases and Oracle Streams replication issues.
Modification of existing database scripts and development of new scripts for recurring issues.
Execution of SQL queries for routine and ad‑hoc requests.
System updates and IAVA patching.
Design and implementation recommendations to optimize GOTS/COTS databases and applications.
Nice to Have
Oracle Grid/RAC in Linux.
Mongoose.
Real‑time data replication such as Oracle Data Guard, Streams, Golden Gate, or Sybase Replication Server.
MySQL.
Cassandra.
