Job Description We are seeking an experienced
AEM Developer
specializing in new implementations to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for architecting, designing, and overseeing the backend development of AEM solutions that align with our clients' business needs. You will work closely with stakeholders, developers, and designers to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the
backend architecture and design
of new AEM implementations from concept through delivery.
Develop and enforce
best practices, governance, and design standards
for AEM backend development.
Architect and implement scalable
AEM solutions , including custom components, OSGi services, workflows, and integrations.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into
efficient and scalable backend solutions .
Integrate AEM with third-party tools, platforms, and APIs, ensuring seamless interoperability.
Oversee and guide backend development teams during the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with architectural vision.
Conduct
code reviews
to ensure compliance with AEM backend best practices, performance standards, and security guidelines.
Provide mentorship and technical leadership to backend developers, fostering growth and excellence.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex
AEM backend issues
related to performance, security, and system integration.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience
working with
Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
in a backend-focused architect or lead developer role.
Proven expertise in
AEM backend architecture , including Sling models, OSGi services, JCR repository, and workflow development.
Strong hands-on experience with
Java, J2EE, OSGi, Sling, JCR, Apache Felix, and RESTful APIs .
Expertise in
AEM 6.x and beyond , including
AEM as a Cloud Service .
Deep understanding of
AEM dispatcher configuration, caching strategies, and performance optimization .
Strong grasp of
CI/CD processes , DevOps practices, and version control (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Maven, Adobe Cloud Manager).
Experience integrating AEM with
enterprise systems, databases, analytics, and eCommerce platforms .
Familiarity with
Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
Ability to communicate complex
technical concepts
effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on
scalability, performance, and security .
Adobe certifications (e.g.,
Adobe Certified Expert - AEM Architect ) are highly desirable.
