System Product Engineering Manager | AMD At AMD, we build products that accelerate next‑generation computing experiences—AI, data centers, PCs, gaming and embedded systems. This role focuses on manufacturing quality, cost, test automation, validation and cross‑functional program management for our Datacenter Accelerated Computing products.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze data, improve yield, reduce cost, debug systems.

Develop test strategy for new product features, design and qualify test fixtures, equipment and diagnostic software.

Review and provide feedback for DFT early design stages.

Debug hardware and software issues during build phases.

Contribute to automated diagnostic generation and validation infrastructure.

Define manufacturing hardware test solutions applicable across board and system product segments.

Support development of test content and solutions in Python.

Investigate and introduce new manufacturing test technology and methodology to improve production efficiency.

Plan product improvement activities to reduce cost, improve yield and resolve quality issues.

Lead technical supervision or mentoring junior engineers and influence others as a technical leader.

Develop and maintain effective working relationships with other departments.

Validate AI, ML and HPC workloads needed to stress AMD DC GPUs.

Collaborate with software and hardware teams to create and automate validation programs for a high‑volume manufacturing environment.

Work with stakeholders globally to develop documentation, process improvements and provide support to the DC GPU manufacturing program.

Develop data analysis and reporting to support stakeholders with data‑driven decision‑making.

Participate and lead discussions on manufacturing test program updates, constraints and optimizations.

Preferred Experience

Experience with industry standard benchmarks, AI/ML/HPC applications.

History of applied Python development skills with focus on object‑oriented best practices.

Experience with hardware validation focused on high volume and contract manufacturing.

Experience systematically through manufacturing yield issues and generating solutions and follow‑ups.

Strong analytical skills for test creation and debug.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Self‑starter, independently drive tasks to completion.

Hands‑on experience in datacenter system architecture an asset.

Academic Credentials

Bachelor or master’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science or an equivalent preferred.
