Base Pay Range $50,000.00/yr - $60,000.00/yr
Summary The
Credentialing Coordinator
will assist in the credentialing of physicians and mid-level providers at various locations around the United States. We are a Locum Tenens company that provides temporary, PRN, and permanent placements at facilities in numerous states.
This is a remote position, but you will travel to Athens, GA, as needed.
Responsibilities
Assists in maintaining electronic databases on all providers through credentialing software.
Assists in maintaining and filing current documents in credential files to support the provider's participation with the clinics, hospitals, managed care organizations, and other affiliations.
Assists in the completion of initial and re-credentialing applications to hospitals and managed care organizations as directed by the Credentialing Managers.
Prepares appointment and reappointment documents on all providers for hospital affiliations and managed care organizations by completing all required paperwork, getting the provider's review/signature, and submitting to the facility/organization prior to the required deadline given.
Gather documentation/reporting required by requesting reports and/or documentation to accompany the reappointment application.
Maintain good working relationships with medical staff and managed care personnel.
Assists in Credentialing Manager's special projects.
Presents with a professional appearance and work ethic.
Maintains a professional rapport with physicians, mid-level providers, clinic practice managers, hospital administration, and managed care representatives.
Responsible for maintaining superior confidentiality.
Maintains basic knowledge of and complies with established policies and procedures.
Performs related work as required.
Detail-oriented with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
Education & Experience
High School or equivalent experience.
1 year preferred with Credentialing and Salesforce.
Proven ability to inspire and manage cross-functional teams, driving exceptional performance in business development and delivery.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills across teams and with clients.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure strategic connectivity between business development and delivery.
Proficiency in Bullhorn, LinkedIn Recruiter, Workday, and other sourcing and CRM technologies.
