Warehouse Associate Position

Industry Leading Manufacturing Company Urgently Hiring A Warehouse Associate!

Located in Carlstadt, NJ

Pay: $16 an hour

Shift: 7 : 30am-4 : 00pm Monday-Friday (OT is available)

Job Description

As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for efficiently picking and packing items based on online order specifications, handling a variety of products including dry goods, refrigerated, and frozen items, and ensuring accurate inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Use warehouse management systems to pick items from shelves or bins.
• Handle fragile items such as glass jars, produce, or seafood with care.
• Ensure items are not damaged, expired, or incorrectly labeled.
• Pack items securely for delivery, using insulated packaging for cold or frozen goods.
• Label boxes correctly to match the order specifications.
• Report low stock or misplaced items and assist in restocking shelves or rotating inventory, particularly perishables.
• Follow food safety protocols and warehouse safety guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized picking area.
• Coordinate with packers, supervisors, and other warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in warehouse management systems.
• Experience in order picking, inventory control, and shipping and receiving.
• Attention to detail to ensure accurate order selection and labeling.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00 / hr.
