What you will do...
Provides administrative support at Malabar by assisting in the development of park programs, special events, & historical tours. Plans & implements events (e.g., Heritage Days, Candlelight Holiday tours, Maple Syrup Festival, field trips, bus tours) to include scheduling, communication, product ordering, inventory, event preparation, day of attendance, coordinating vendors, etc. Oversees the gift shop & event retail locations & manages associated business functions (e.g., inventory, record keeping, processing bills, purchasing). Assists with scheduling & payment for all rentals, weddings, & maintains the calendar of events, overnight rental & two-day use rentals. Serves as a liaison between administrator & staff & provides technical advice to aid in decision making. Performs public relations duties: partners with others on joint projects/events/programs, responds to public inquiries, furnishes information related to park programming, provide social media updates, assists with tours. Starting hourly pay of $22.96/hr. with multiple pay increases over your first 5.5 years of service, with an end salary of $27.92/hr. There may also be cost of living adjustments (COLA) applied. Qualifications
18 mos. exp. or 18 mos. trg. in secretarial/administrative professional field.
-Or completion of associate core coursework in secretarial science or business office applications from accredited career school or community college.
-Or 6 mos. exp. as Administrative Professional 1, 16871.
-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.
