Senior Account Manager / Warehouse Manager – The Judge Group

Large food manufacturer in the Kirkland‑Redmond, WA area is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Warehouse Manager with a proven track record in food handling and cold storage environments.

Base Pay Range

$90,000.00/yr – $120,000.00/yr

Key Responsibilities

• Operations Management
• Oversee all daily warehouse activities including receiving, put‑away, storage, picking, packing and shipping of temperature‑controlled food products.
• Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization for maximum cold‑storage efficiency.
• Develop, implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) focused on cold chain integrity and food safety.
• Monitor and maintain temperature and humidity; promptly address deviations or equipment malfunctions.
• Implement preventative maintenance for forklifts, refrigeration units and other material handling equipment.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with transportation partners.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and resolve discrepancies quickly.
• Inventory Management
• Maintain accurate inventory records and enforce FIFO/FEFO product rotation.
• Manage real‑time inventory via WMS and conduct regular cycle counts.
• Ensure quality control of all inbound and outbound products.
• Lead, mentor, train and evaluate a team of supervisors and associates to foster safety and continuous improvement.
• Develop staffing plans, manage schedules and allocate labor to meet operational demands.
• Promote a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Safety & Compliance
• Ensure strict adherence to HACCP, FSMA, OSHA and company policies.
• Maintain a comprehensive food safety program and conduct safety audits and training.
• Manage pest control programs for food storage facilities.
• Train team members on equipment safety, cold storage protocols and PPE usage.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and implement lean methodologies.
• Utilize KPIs and data analysis to drive decisions and stay informed of industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field (preferred).
• Proven experience managing perishable goods and maintaining cold chain integrity.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, FSMA and OSHA compliance.
• Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory control software.
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities focused on continuous improvement.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, demanding environment, including prolonged periods in cold temperatures.
• Forklift certification and experience operating material handling equipment.
• Ability to lift, carry, push and pull objects as required by the job.
