Lead Heavy Equipment Operator (Seasonal) - Summit Station, Greenland

The Role
Lead on-site snow and construction operations at Summit Station. You'll supervise a small crew and operate loaders, dozers, and tractors to keep runways, roads, and facilities mission-ready.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise equipment operators; drive a strong safety culture

• Operate heavy equipment for snow removal, construction, and maintenance

• Coordinate daily plans with station teams and stakeholders

• Perform pre-/post-use inspections; maintain logs and work reports

• Enforce safe work practices and equipment care

What You'll Bring

• 4+ years heavy equipment operation; 1+ year in a lead/supervisory role

• Proficiency with loaders, bulldozers, and tractors

• Remote field experience; strong communication and problem-solving

• Valid driver's license; able to work independently and as part of a team

Schedule & Pay

• Seasonal, full-time: approx. Mid-March to Mid-June and/or Mid-June to Late-August

• Typical: 6 days/week, 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; some Sundays as needed

• $2,100–$2,400 per week
