Purpose of Position:

The Warehouse Janitor plays a critical role in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment across all warehouse and production areas. This position ensures compliance with company safety and sanitation standards, supporting operational efficiency and a positive employee experience. The ideal candidate demonstrates attention to detail, dependability, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities
• Maintain cleanliness of warehouse, production, and common areas, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal.
• Operate industrial cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, vacuums, and pressure washers.
• Empty and sanitize trash bins, recycling containers, and designated waste areas per company and environmental guidelines.
• Clean and restock restrooms, breakrooms, and locker areas daily.
• Ensure cleaning chemicals and supplies are stored safely and inventory is adequately maintained.
• Support waste segregation and recycling efforts in accordance with sustainability initiatives.
• Assist with spill cleanup, ensuring timely response to prevent safety hazards.
• Report maintenance or safety concerns (e.g., leaks, damaged flooring, malfunctioning equipment) to supervision promptly.
• Follow all company policies and OSHA safety standards, including PPE and lockout/tagout requirements where applicable.
• Collaborate with warehouse and facilities teams to maintain cleanliness around docks, racking systems, and storage zones.
• Participate in facility audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Minimum Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior janitorial, custodial, or warehouse experience required; industrial environment experience preferred.

The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in Cleveland, OH is $18.25 per hour. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, type and years of experience within the industry, education, etc.
