Trial Attorney – Kanner & Pintaluga
Position Summary
In this role, you will ensure our clients receive the best care and achieve excellent results. Attorneys are expected to meet with clients to discuss their case, show compassion and empathy, and demonstrate an ability to earn their trust, confidence, and respect. They will also update clients and communicate with insurance companies regarding the status of claims, demands, and offers. In addition, the Attorney should be able to prepare the case for trial and try the case if needed.
Responsibilities
Meet with clients to discuss case details, build trust, and maintain client relationships.
Prepare case files for trial and present arguments in court.
Communicate status updates to clients and negotiate claims with insurance companies.
Demonstrate empathy, compassion, and professionalism in all client interactions.
Work independently in an office environment and manage caseload proactively.
Qualifications
Full-time position.
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Six or more years of litigation experience.
At least five jury trials as first chair preferred.
Member of the Illinois Bar in good standing.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
Superb negotiation skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proactive approach to problem solving.
