Director, Master Data Management (Hybrid)

Salary Range:
$169,700 - $267,200
Hybrid Work Model:
Effective September 5, 2023, employees will work a hybrid model consisting of three total days on-site per week, Monday - Thursday, with Friday remote, unless business critical tasks require on-site presence.

Responsibilities
Establish a centralized operating model for MDM with clear roles, responsibilities, governance forums, KPIs, and service delivery expectations.
Lead development and adoption of data policies, standards, and lifecycle management for SAP master data.
Build, lead, and develop a centralized MDM team (data stewards, process leads, data quality analysts).
Set objectives, monitor performance, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
Serve as central point-of-contact interfacing across R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, and IT to ensure standard requirements and harmonized strategy.
Drive alignment among global stakeholders on master data definitions, templates, and system usage.
Promote automation and AI readiness by ensuring integrity of master data across GCS data infrastructure.
Identify and prioritize opportunities for tooling, SAP improvements, and data management automation.
Ensure master data practices comply with internal policies, external regulatory requirements, and audit expectations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Information Systems, Engineering, Life Sciences, Business Administration or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience in master data management, SAP material master governance, or supply chain data leadership.
At least 5 years in a leadership role.
Deep knowledge of SAP material master data structures, processes (MM/SD/PP/WM), and change control within a global manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated experience establishing centralized MDM operating models, data governance frameworks, and stewardship programs at scale.
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with Manufacturing, Quality, IT/SAP, and Commercial teams.
Proven track record implementing data quality frameworks and metrics and driving measurable improvements in data accuracy and process adherence.
Experience with data validation tools, master data management platforms, SAP data migration/cleaning projects, or automation initiatives.
