Role Overview The Safety Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the health and safety of all personnel at the Samsung Austin Semiconductor Plant renovation and expansion project. This role focuses on daily safety management, documentation, and compliance coordination to maintain world-class standards on-site.
Key Responsibilities Communicate with project teams and contractors to coordinate daily work activities and maintain accurate safety documentation. Record and track daily project progress, ensuring compliance with schedules and safety protocols. Organize and manage project files, ensuring all safety documentation is up to date. Conduct safety orientations for new contractor employees and assist with the badging process. Prepare materials for safety events, weekly safety meetings, and training sessions. Record and analyze workplace incidents, tracking trends to identify areas for improvement. Manage personal protective equipment (PPE) inventory and distribution. Process safety material purchase requests and assist with site safety logistics.

Qualifications & Experience Minimum of 3 years of construction safety experience preferred. Strong knowledge of construction safety protocols and OSHA regulations. OSHA certification highly preferred. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail. Proven capability to work independently and as part of a team. Bilingual fluency in English and Korean required.
