Platinum Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine Inc. is a physical therapist owned company that provides one on one care without the use of aides or assistants to a wide variety of patients with orthopedic, neurological, and pelvic health concerns. We are currently looking for a full-time physical therapist to join our outstanding team of PTs in our Ashland, MA location. After opening in 2004, our clinic has grown to include several physical therapy specialties including pelvic floor and lymphedema as well as occupational therapy, making us a multidisciplinary team. The recently renovated clinic is walking distance from schools, the center of town, local businesses and walking trails. The facility opens to our smiling front desk administrator leading you to four private rooms and a big open gym space with plenty of natural light. Monthly journal club with lunch and continuing education meetings are held amongst all staff to help our team members build up the clinical skills they need to have the caseload that they want to treat. Furthermore, we offer evening group yoga and workout classes for patients and members of the community that are instructed by one of our therapists. At Platinum Physical Therapy we prioritize our staff having work-life harmony, so we never double book appointments and have web-based NetHealth as our EMR to reduce documentation time! Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities: Implement and carry out physical therapy plan of care in one-on-one 40 minute time slots for evaluations and treatments Open 56 patient slots/week (37.5 treatment hours with lunch time allocated) Manage ones own schedule through waitlists and communication with front desk Engage with the local community at large through 1-2 local marketing events per year Complete necessary documentation and chart review as needed within and outside of patient treatment hours Participate in continuing education requirements of maintaining a professional license in the state of Massachusetts Maintain a clean, organized clinic for patient care Required Skills/Abilities: Willingness to learn and lead by example Excellent written and verbal communication skills Maintain a positive attitude with patients and staff Use of computer for documentation and communication with patients and staff Education and Experience: Bachelors or graduate degree in Physical Therapy required Active physical therapy license in good standing in the Commonwealth of MA Experience in outpatient orthopedics physical therapy setting preferred Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical demands of role of physical therapist including manual therapies, exercise demonstration, and guarding for safety Computer use for documentation, email, and marketing Lifting and carrying of marketing materials and clinic supplies
