A well-known hospital is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to join their Radiology team.
Details: On Site, Hybrid, Remote: On-site Shift: 8am-4pm Schedule: Full time Setting: Acute Care
Responsibilities included but not limited to are: Assists interventional radiologists with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures that use instruments to treat conditions in the body. Responsible for operating and maintaining specialized imaging equipment, administering contrast dyes, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
Qualifications & Experience A valid license and current registration to practice Diagnostic Radiography as a Radiologic Technologist issued by the NYSDOH (can be obtained after the offer) Eligible Advanced Certifications from ARRT include the following: (only one (1) certification below is required) ARRT (CI) - Cardiac Interventional Radiology ARRT (CV) - Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology ARRT (VI) - Vascular Interventional Radiology Associates degree from a Radiologic Technology program. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA). Minimum one (1) year of experience using angiographic equipment, balloon angioplasty and stenting.
