Irving, TX 75038 (Onsite).
Job Title: Electrical Electronics Engineer Location: Round Lake, IL 60073 (Onsite) Contract Duration: 12 months Pay Range: $32-$35hr (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)
Job Description The role involves designing and developing microcontroller-based electronic systems for infusion products. The candidate will define hardware requirements, create analog/digital circuit designs, analyze circuit performance, and ensure seamless integration with mechanical and software systems. Responsibilities include preparing design documentation, developing test methods, troubleshooting, and transitioning designs to manufacturing while ensuring regulatory compliance.
Design tools they are working with - Altium (Must Have), Python, LabVIEW, LTSpice Key Responsibilities Design and validate analog/digital circuits for medical devices. Develop and document electrical architectures and hardware specifications. Perform simulations and testing (Power Integrity, LTSpice/Pspice). Collaborate with software, mechanical, and manufacturing teams. Ensure compliance with IEC 60601, IEC 61010, UL, and related standards.
Qualifications B.E./M.E. in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with 3+ years of experience. Experience in embedded systems, FPGA-based design, and CAD PCB tools (Altium preferred). Exposure to medical device or regulated product development. Knowledge of LabVIEW, sensing subsystems, and testing for EMI/EMC compliance. They are hardware engineers.
