Senior Data &

Machine Learning Engineer

to play a critical technical role in designing, building, and scaling our next-generation data platform and ML ecosystem. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Data Architecture and Machine Learning, you will architect the foundation of our cloud lakehouse and drive the hands-on design, development, and deployment of scalable models and data pipelines that power business intelligence, personalization, and predictive analytics across the organization.

Responsibilities

Architect and build the enterprise lakehouse across Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, Databricks, or AWS, enabling unified data ingestion, transformation, and analytics Ensure data governance, quality, and security are embedded throughout the architecture Contribute to architecture decisions and ensure alignment with enterprise data strategy Partner closely with the VP, data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate business challenges into data/BI or AI/ML solutions Contribute to the end-to-end development of machine learning modelsfrom concepting to productionsupporting use cases across retail and eCommerce Build reusable MLOps pipelines using tools such as Azure Machine Learning, Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric Drive the technical roadmap for AI Foundry platforms and CoPilot integrations Implement best practices for model training, versioning, deployment, monitoring, and governance Evaluate and integrate cutting-edge ML tools and frameworks including ChatGPT, Claude.ai, and Google AI Studio Mentor engineers and contribute to the growth of an AI-centered engineering culture Other duties as assigned

Requirements

5+ years in data engineering or ML engineering, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead technical role Proven expertise in building and scaling data platforms (Azure, Fabric, Synapse, Databricks, Snowflake, or AWS) Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, PySpark, dbt, or MLflow Experience deploying and maintaining ML models in production with MLOps best practices Familiarity with MLOps platforms such as Azure ML, MLflow, Kubeflow, or Databricks Solid understanding of data modeling, ELT/ETL patterns, streaming, and orchestration (ADF, Airflow, Fabric Data Pipelines) Knowledge of cloud security, cost optimization, and governance Experience with eCommerce or Supply Chain preferred Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field Demonstrated ability to balance strategy and hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
