Bella Cosa Jewelers is growing our Willowbrook team of luxury jewelry professionals and seek an experienced and detail-oriented Watchmaker to join the team!
The Watchmaker will offer an unparalleled level of after sales care and services, dedicated to our clients. In addition, must be able to service a wide range of timepieces, including mechanical and quartz watches, with particular focus on ETA-based movements and complex modular chronograph mechanisms. Will adhere to the highest standards of quality control while working on all luxury brands, such as Rolex.
Key Responsibilities: Perform quality repairs on all customer owned merchandise orders for complex quartz and mechanical watch servicing. Service and repair multiple luxury watch brands according to guidelines established by the brand, including Rolex. Perform comprehensive services on all timepieces, including movement overhauls, refinishing, dial replacement, case repair, and quality control checks. Identify and requisition parts for repair. Provide concise repair estimates, clearly indicating required and recommended services. Ensure timely completion of work and resolution of any issues, ensuring the highest standards of customer service are met. Meet deadlines and prioritize tasks to effectively handle a high volume of watch repairs. Periodically interact with clients, jewelry sales consultants, and repairs team. Ensure accurate record keeping and daily maintenance of the watchmakers work area.
Pay Range: $80,000 - $115,000 / year
Requirements: 3-5 years professional experience. WOSTEP, SAWTA, CW21 or similar certification. Successful completion of a watchmaking program/school. Rolex watchmaking experience preferred. Detail oriented, meticulous and precise. Able to handle delicate watch parts with great care and precision. Flexible and team oriented. Good verbal and written communication skills. Able to work in a team environment and possess a positive attitude. Available to work an occasional Saturday as needed.
