Marketing Manager – On‑Site & Experiential Marketing Company Overview

Alohilani Resort Waikiki Beach, Honolulu, HI Responsibilities
Plan, manage, and promote special on‑site events to drive foot traffic, guest satisfaction, and incremental revenue Partner with F&B, operations, and catering teams to develop a robust event calendar aligned with seasonal business goals by assisting DOSM Manage all aspects of event marketing including signage, collateral, and multi‑channel promotion (in‑house, social, direct mail, etc.) Collaborate with Sales and Catering teams to develop targeted marketing strategies and materials for group promotions, corporate events, and weddings Provide tailored support for sales presentations, proposals, and site inspections to increase conversion rates Assist in the development of packages, promotions, and banquet menu updates specific to group and catering Vet, coordinate, and manage on‑property influencer stays and activations that align with the resort’s brand values and audience Host and coordinate media visits, press tours, and FAM trips to secure earned media coverage and positive exposure Track deliverables and performance from influencer and media partnerships Lead planning and execution of photo and video shoots on property, ensuring alignment with brand standards and storytelling goals Maintain an organized digital asset library for use across departments and campaigns Ensure regular updates of content assets to reflect seasonality, promotions, and key resort features Work hand‑in‑hand with the E‑commerce focused Marketing Manager and DOSM to align messaging across all digital and physical channels Collaborate on campaigns that incorporate F&B, spa/wellness, sustainability, and cultural programs to tell a cohesive brand story Support cross‑promotional opportunities with local partners and existing tenants, when relevant Present post‑activation/event reports highlighting results, and recommendations for improvement Regularly analyze performance data and provide actionable insights to DOSM Qualifications
Minimum two years of hotel experience, preferred luxury lifestyle or events, in a related hotel department (Marketing, Communications, or a related field.) Proficient in Microsoft 365/Office and marketing tools (i.e. Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CRM platforms, etc.) Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service‑oriented manner Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by employees and guests Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service‑oriented manner Attend all required meetings and trainings Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Highgate Hotel standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the hotel Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including attire that meets dress code requirements with a nametag Comply with Highgate Hotel standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations Maximize efforts toward productivity, identify problem areas, and assist in implementing solutions Must be effective in handling problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving programs as necessary Must be able to cross‑train in related areas Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information Must be able to show initiative, including anticipating guest or operational needs Perform other duties as requested by management Seniority Level
