Primary Objective

We are looking for a dynamic person who loves digging into numbers and is looking to grow with a business and have some fun along the way. As the primary finance leader for the site, this role will act as a business partner to the plant manager and be an active part of the site management team through financial reporting, analysis, and accounting support to the team and our growing global business.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Completes all Controllership activities for the Sandy, UT plant.

Actively engages as part of the site leadership team.

Prepare monthly plant financials, analysis, and other reports for DuPont corporate and divisional leaders.

Collaborate in preparing monthly forecast with site leaders.

Monitor and provide analysis of revenues, margins, product costing, scrap, variances, and other expenses to help “tell the story,” and drive profitability improvements.

Preparation of full budget including financial statements, revenue-margins, capital expenditures, and headcount.

Assures that SPG and DuPont financial policies and procedures are implemented according to corporate policy in support of the highest possible level of financial integrity and reliability.

Responsible for spearheading implementation of ERP Inventory module.

Create annual labor and overhead standards.

Inventory analysis and monitoring inventory reserves.

Provide support to internal and external auditors.

Understand and comply with all Dupont safety policies and procedures and actively promote and drive a culture of safety.

Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills, Education and Experience

BS/BA in Accounting or Finance and at least 5 years’ related experience within a manufacturing company, including 3 years of previous Controller or related experience.

Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, time management and analytical skills.

Requires deadline driven, dynamic, high-energy individual, able to work autonomously and lead as key contributor on teams.

Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Be able to perform a variety of tasks and work autonomously with limited supervision.

Possesses a certain degree of creativity and latitude.

Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the accounting and finance field, including some cost accounting.

Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Additional Desired Skills

CPA/MBA/CMA/CPIM.

Experience in a medical device manufacturing environment.

Experience with IQMS a plus.

The noise level in the work environment is minimal in the office and loud on the production floor.

Regularly required to sit, stand, walk and move about the facility.

Occasionally required to bend and stoop.
