Job Title Leasing Consultant
Pay $22 per hour plus leasing commission
Job Summary Requires high energy, desire to help people, and a commitment to anticipate and exceed expectations. Combines sales, customer service, and marketing to lease apartments and build strong relationships.
Essential Job Duties
Participate daily team meetings to uphold Employee Promise.
Open office and perform opening duties (Craigslist ads, refreshments, flags).
Maintain office, tour path, vacant apartments, amenities, and curb appeal.
Maintain thorough product knowledge of property and competitors.
Assist Community Director with marketing strategies to increase traffic.
Convert phone calls, property tours, and internet leads into leases.
Deliver exceptional customer service while handling prospective residents.
Enter guest card information and screen prospective residents.
Prepare lease paperwork, move‑in, renewal, brochures, move‑out requests.
Coordinate resident events for maximum participation.
Resolve resident concerns with first‑class service.
Place work orders and monitor outstanding work orders (48‑hour guarantee).
Handle monthly admin tasks (rent collection, notices, surveys, lease bonus).
Assist with risk management to ensure safety and well‑being.
Adhere to policies, procedures, and manuals.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Experience in sales, customer service, or clerical work.
Floats between properties (list specifics).
Score at or above AMC standards on mystery shop report.
Proficient computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, email, internet, social media).
Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal, math skills.
Shows up on time, follows direction, interacts well, gives and receives feedback.
Maintains a professional image and attitude at all times.
Remarkable sales skills in features, benefits, and closing.
Serve VIPs with welcoming caring attitude.
Professional integrity, time management, multitasking, leadership skills.
Assertive, independent, energetic, flexible, motivated, goal‑oriented, organized.
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
Physical ability to bend, stretch, reach, stand, walk, climb stairs for long periods.
