Asset Management Lead
Location: On-Site, Washington, DC

Salary Range: $130,000 - $150,000

We are seeking a highly motivated, customer-oriented Asset Management Lead to join our team. The selected candidate will support federal government agencies. This is an important position with a large impact.
To be considered, US Citizenship and an active Secret security clearance is required.
Responsibilities
Oversee the complete lifecycle of IT assets (hardware, software, licenses, and peripherals) from procurement to retirement.
Maintain an accurate inventory of all IT assets using asset management tools or CMDB systems.
Coordinate with procurement and finance teams on purchasing, asset tagging, and cost tracking.
Ensure compliance with software licensing, security policies, and audit requirements.
Conduct periodic asset audits and reconcile discrepancies between physical and digital inventories.
Manage asset refresh, warranty tracking, and disposal processes in accordance with company or regulatory policies.
Develop reports and dashboards summarizing asset utilization, depreciation, and performance trends.
Partner with IT leadership, security, and infrastructure teams to align asset management with broader IT strategies.
Collaborate with vendors for hardware replacements, warranty claims, and service renewals.
Support onboarding and offboarding processes by coordinating provisioning and retrieval of IT assets.
Communicate system updates, service outages, or policy changes to end users in a clear and timely manner.
Required Qualifications
Real ID Driver's License
US Citizen with an active Secret security clearance.
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
5+ years of experience.
Experience with asset management systems.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to work in a team environment and lead a team.
