Job Description Employees in this role design, develop, test, and maintain software applications to meet customer needs. They participate in the entire software development lifecycle, including architecture design, coding, quality testing, and deployment. Full‑stack developers who handle both user interface and server side also fall within this function.
Key Responsibilities
Engage customers to deeply understand use‑cases, pain points, and requirements, advocating user‑centric solutions.
Design, develop, and deliver complex solutions using tools, languages, frameworks, and technologies.
Assess application or service requirements and select the most suitable technology stack, integration method, deployment strategy, etc.
Create high‑level architecture designs outlining overall structure, components, and interfaces.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams such as product owners, designers, and architects.
Define and implement software test strategy, guidelines, policies, and processes aligned with organization vision, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
Continuously improve performance, optimize the application, and implement new technologies to maximize efficiency.
Apply test‑driven development, continuous integration, and continuous delivery practices.
Support security practices to safeguard user data, including encryption and anonymization.
Create user‑friendly and interactive interfaces.
Develop and maintain back‑end applications such as APIs and microservices using server‑side languages.
Evaluate and incorporate emerging technologies to deliver solutions, monitoring and participating in new stack layers.
7+ years of configuration experience in S4 FI and CO modules: FI‑GL, AP, AR, AA required; CO‑PC, CO‑CCA, CO‑ML, CO‑PA desirable.
Prior experience creating use cases, user stories, and other requirement artifacts.
Demonstrate ability to provide functional specifications and work with Software Engineers (ABAP, PCF, Fiori) in testing on the SAP platform.
7+ years’ experience in multiple implementations of SAP ERP solutions with full life‑cycle participation.
Previous experience in solution design, unit testing/integration testing, and UAT.
Skills Required
SAP S4 HANA
Experiences
Engineer 3 Exp: 2 coding languages or advanced practice in 1 language, 6+ years in IT; 4+ years in development.
Preferred Experiences
Electrical Engineering or related field, or combination of education and equivalent experience.
Experience working in a multi‑company code, multi‑currency environment.
Hands‑on configuration of required SAP FICO modules.
Analyze problems and troubleshoot root cause.
Read and debug ABAP code (but no technical development).
Good knowledge of integration with other S4 modules – Purchasing, Sales and Production.
Development experience with ABAP, Integration, and UI tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in a Product‑Driven Agile Organization.
Education Required
Bachelor’s Degree
