Electrical Engineer – Control Systems
We’re looking for an
Electrical Engineer
to design and document control systems used in industrial and marine applications. The role is focused on producing accurate drawings and electrical documentation, while supporting the build, wiring, and testing of systems.
Base Pay Range $100,000 /yr – $125,000 /yr
What you’ll do
Create
General Arrangement drawings ,
wiring diagrams ,
schematics , and
Bills of Materials (BOMs)
Design and document
24VDC control circuits
Specify and lay out PLC hardware (no programming required)
Use
AutoCAD Electrical
(or similar) to develop and update project drawings
Support shop floor and field teams during wiring, assembly, and testing
Respond to technical queries from production and customers
What you bring
Bachelor’s degree in
Electrical Engineering
(or related discipline)
Experience producing GA drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and BOMs
Knowledge of
24VDC circuits
and discrete I/O wiring
Familiarity with PLC‑based control hardware
Proficiency with
AutoCAD
(AutoCAD Electrical preferred)
Strong problem‑solving and communication skills
Nice to have
3–5 years’ experience in industrial automation, machinery, or control systems
Exposure to marine, energy, or heavy equipment projects
Ability to complete a short practical drawing/wiring test
