Job Overview
Food & Beverage Supervisor
– TENTAC Enterprises, located at Eastland Suites Hotel & Conference Center. This role oversees daily operations of food and beverage service areas, ensuring high service standards, event setup, staff management, inventory control, and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of food and beverage service areas, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
Demonstrate a 100% commitment to guest experience and employee satisfaction.
Manage inventory and order supplies based on demand, maintaining stock levels and minimizing waste.
Ensure food and beverage quality meets taste and presentation standards.
Maintain health, safety, and sanitation compliance, conducting regular inspections.
Collaborate with Food & Beverage Manager to set sales targets, promote special items, and drive profitability.
Lead and train a team of servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff, scheduling staff to cover business needs.
Assist in planning and executing events, coordinating setup, staffing, and execution.
Respond promptly to customer inquiries and report issues to management.
Work closely with kitchen staff, management, and other departments to provide seamless guest experiences.
Supporting Functions
Aiding with administrative duties as needed.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested.
Cook and prepare bulk food for the bar, including preparation of meats, sauces, and produce.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent; any combination of education and experience equivalent may be considered.
Minimum of three years of experience in kitchen, bar, hotel, or foodservice hospitality.
Food Handlers’ Certification, Foodservice Managers Sanitation Certification, BASSET Certification, and valid Driver’s License.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills; ability to manage a team and deliver outstanding guest experience.
Basic computer skills: e‑mail, word processing, and spreadsheet software.
Ability to serve as Manager‑On‑Duty and organize multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
