As a Security Professional – Auto Lot Security in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries including automotive. The position is part‑time and offers flexibility through a proprietary shift scheduling platform. You will patrol designated areas to deter incidents, interact with employees and visitors, deliver customer service, respond to various situations, and uphold Allied Universal values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. Tue 08:00 AM – 04:00 PM Thu 08:00 AM – 04:00 PM Sun 08:00 AM – 04:00 PM What You’ll Do
Claim open shifts at client sites using the proprietary scheduling platform. Support operations across commercial real estate, healthcare, and education environments. Receive site‑specific training and guidance from experienced teams. Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service. Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise. Responsibilities
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, following site‑specific policies and/or responding to emergency situations as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity or access. Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or incidents to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client contacts. Assist with access control procedures, including verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points as required by site protocols. Support Allied Universal and client staff with security‑related needs and provide accurate documentation of daily activities and incidents. Maintain a professional presence and positive interactions with employees, visitors, and contractors at the location. What We’re Looking For
Availability across various days and shifts. Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments. A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company. Interest in transitioning into full‑time roles when available. Minimum Requirements
At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required. Customer service experience is preferred. Loss prevention experience is preferred. Experience with alarm panels is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
