Job Summary Seeking a Classified System Administrator to support United States Coast Guard (USCG) Cyber Command personnel, as appropriate, update relevant systems, address security breaches, and troubleshoot issues relative to the systems and their functionality.
Salary $102,000 - $107,000
Responsibilities/Duties
Provide internal desktop support for USCG Intelligence and Cyber personnel
To include Windows-based machines, Cisco VOIPs, Cisco Webex devices, printers, and other peripheral devices
Troubleshoot network connectivity issues of end devices and coordinate port configurations with networking team.
Provide classified and unclassified video teleconferencing support for the USCG enterprise
Coordinate and schedule teleconferences using programs such as VQ Manager
Provide live monitoring of events and initial troubleshooting during meetings
Track integrity of VTC suites and evolve issues to external partners as necessary
Program and submit tickets to register new VTC devices
Document, track and follow up on requests and tickets submitted to external partners
Participate in tech refresh projects for end user devices
Create and administer user accounts
Manage user access to shared network resources using security groups
Assist the Coast Guard petty officers in their duties when requested
Assist with SCIF equipment entry/exit procedures and documentation
Inspect and track IT equipment entering/exiting classified spaces as per Information System Security Officer guidance.
Experienced Server Administrator who shall maintain various network servers, workstations, and services running on Windows Server or latest version(s) of Windows Operating System.
Analyze networking hardware and software for any performance problems
Monitor network connectivity of all components
Install hardware and software components
Integrate and upgrade operating systems
Test network resources
Experience troubleshooting and replacing workstations, telecommunications, and user peripheral equipment.
Analyze existing infrastructure, recommend implementation processes, and integrate existing hardware/software components into the solution. This shall include:
Set and/or modify system parameters.
Make adjustments for the number of simultaneous users.
Verify the network interfaces operation.
Demonstrate and verify operational status of all data services, communications, linking, configuration of print servers, file servers, gateways, and workstations through successful operational testing.
Develop all necessary instructions and documentation when installing system file servers.
Assist users with completion of annual security training requirements.

BA/BS with six years of relevant experience
United States Citizen
Top Secret/SCI Clearance
Preferred Qualifications
DoD 8570/8140 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 2 certification or higher
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA)
