Your Role As the Corporate Controller you will work with industry leaders to direct accounting operational functions, manage the accumulation and consolidation of financial information, assess internal control systems, and guide departmental staff. You will protect Faraday Future’s assets, forecast and plan finances, and oversee all required technical accounting and financial reporting.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior leaders to identify needs and execute business solutions.
Manage all accounting functions and monitor related matters—including ledgers, reporting systems, and compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard assets and information.
Enable appropriate monthly preparation of financial information against benchmarks, budgets, and reporting standards.
Oversee all technical accounting and financial reporting resources to ensure US GAAP and SEC filing accuracy.
Manage the annual and quarterly SEC filing procedures and external auditor relationships.
Manage the outsourced tax function.
Implement consistent accounting policies, practices, and procedures across all programs.
Oversee and support the accounting team with dynamic leadership that creates trust and productivity.
Basic Qualifications
12+ years of progressive accounting experience, including as a Controller.
BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related business field.
Previous experience in public accounting and with a Big 4 or tier 2 firm.
Proficient with SAP.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Active CPA designation.
Manufacturing/consumer electronics industry experience.
Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting, cost control principles, and GAAP.
Preferred Qualifications
MBA.
Experience with a venture‑backed startup.
Manufacturing experience required; automotive industry strongly preferred.
Creative curiosity, collaborative ethic, and hardworking enthusiasm with a clear personal vision.
A penchant for multi‑tasking and self‑starting.
A genuine fascination for the EV field and a commitment to global change.
Annual Salary Range (($200,000.00 – $250,000.00 DOE), plus benefits and incentive plans)
