Overview
Physical Therapist – Outpatient Center Manager at NovaCare Washington, DC (K Street).
Compensation starts at $85,000 per year. Sign‑on bonus up to $20,000 and indefinite student‑loan repayment assistance.
Full‑time position (40 hrs/week) with some evenings until 6:30 PM; last patient scheduled one hour prior to closing.
Responsibilities
Oversee the outpatient orthopedic physical therapy team and provide preventive and rehabilitative services.
Lead the center’s operations and uphold executive decisions.
Develop and manage physician relationships and patient portfolios.
Expand and develop a team of talented PTs and physical therapist assistants.
Partner with community philanthropic programs and events to give back.
Utilize local community network to partner with physicians, employers, payors and case managers to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Participate in continuing education opportunities.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program.
Valid State Physical Therapist License required to start.
Minimum two (2) years of outpatient orthopedic PT experience.
CPR certification.
Previous management experience is not required; leadership development program will provide support.
