Back-End Developer, Senior
Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking an experienced Back-End Developer to deliver mission-forward solutions. The role requires deep software engineering skills, the ability to identify risk and impact client systems.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services.
Implement clean code, robust APIs, and data storage solutions.
Conduct performance testing and benchmarking.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient systems.
Identify potential risks and contribute to solution architecture.
Qualifications
5+ years of Agile software development experience.
Proficiency in Java, Python, SQL, JavaScript, or other server-side languages.
Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and Node.js, Spring Boot, or similar frameworks.
Strong understanding of database architecture, performance tuning.
Secret clearance required.
Bachelor’s degree in CS, Software Engineering, or related field.
Nice to Have
Experience with space systems or satellite communications.
Experience with Java, JavaScript, SQL, Python, server-side development, middleware, application or data integration, API development, core application systems, Node.js, Groovy, Scala, Spring Cloud, Spring Core, Spring-Boot, or Spring Data.
Master’s degree.
TS/SCI clearance.
Compensation Projected salary range: $86,800 – $198,000 (annualized USD). Total compensation includes health, life, disability, financial, and retirement benefits, paid leave, professional development, tuition assistance, work-life programs, and dependent care.
