Job DescriptionJob Description
We are seeking an experienced
Certified Swing Cab Crane Operator (TLL – Telescopic Boom Cranes)
with a
minimum of 5 years of crane operating experience
and
at least 2 years working in the oil & gas industry . The ideal candidate will be safety-focused, mechanically skilled, and hold all required credentials to operate in regulated environments.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate a
swing cab/telescopic boom crane
to lift, move, and position heavy equipment, machinery, and materials.
Perform
daily pre-operation inspections , including checking:
Oil and fluid levels
Tire air pressure
Fuel levels
Lubrication/greasing of equipment
Water and general operational readiness
Follow all
OSHA and O&G site safety protocols
Work with ground crews, riggers, and signal personnel to ensure precision and efficiency.
Maintain accurate equipment logs and report any mechanical issues.
Requirements:
Valid Crane Operator Certification (TLL – Swing Cab) through NCCCO or equivalent third-party certifier
TWIC Card – Required
Minimum 5 years of crane operation experience
At least 2 years experience working in oil & gas environments
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to identify pre-operation mechanical issues.
Ability to operate safely in high-demand, high-traffic work environments.
Reliability, professionalism, and strong communication with rigging/ground teams.
