About The Role We’re looking for a Design Lead who can bridge brand storytelling with growth‑focused design inside Superette, the Creative Studio at DoorDash. Leading a team of designers, you’ll develop work that both drives conversion in the short term and builds brand equity in the long term. Drive conversion‑focused assets while ensuring alignment and maintaining consistency of visual identity with DoorDash’s brand standards and design language system.
Collaborate with program managers, marketers, and copywriters to turn insights into impactful creative.
Use data and insights to optimize creative while elevating emotional resonance and long‑term equity.
Identify and experiment with new formats, storytelling techniques, AI‑powered workflows, and design systems that expand how DoorDash shows up across touchpoints.
Champion AI adoption within the team by integrating tools that improve speed, scalability, and creative innovation.
Stay ahead of industry trends in brand and growth design to evolve our creative impact.
Qualifications
8+ years of professional design experience spanning brand and growth marketing.
2+ years of leadership experience managing and mentoring design teams.
Portfolio showcasing both brand‑building work (campaigns, identity systems, storytelling) and growth‑focused design (CRM, lifecycle, paid social, A/B testing).
Hands‑on expertise creating impactful content across web, email, ads, presentations, and campaign assets.
Ability to articulate and defend strategic design decisions to senior stakeholders.
Experience translating complex business concepts into clear, compelling visuals.
