Job Description:
The candidate must be a self-starter, conscientious and enthusiastic with positive attitude in order to assist material team in receiving, shipping, returns, NCN’s, cycle counts, WAC orders and parts delivery.
Job Description
• 25-40% of the position requires computer work (10 hours or more during 40 hour work week)
• Communicate effectively with carriers and suppliers regarding delivery and quality concerns.
• Manage Third-Party Shipments: Create and manage Bills of Lading, track parts, and coordinate with suppliers.
• Accurately receive incoming materials using Microsoft D365, following FIFO principles.
• Manage Return Goods Authorizations (RGAs) to and from the business unit.
• Complete material management improvement projects utilizing ITW's MRD, Kanban and in-lining principles
• MRD Cards: cross off due dates for received parts
• Support WAC orders and parts deliveries as needed.
• Assist with regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
Qualifications
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must have a forklift driver's license
• 1 year of in Material Strategies; Material storage, KanBan/ARC/MRD replenishment, inventory targets
• Computer skills preferred. (Microsoft D365, Omnify, Windows, Outlook, Word, and Excel)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good written and oral communication skills required
