Job Title: Data Scientist - Bilingual Concentrix Catalyst is the experience design and engineering team of Concentrix, a leading global solutions company that reimagines everything CX through strategy, talent and technology. The Catalyst Team is seeking a seasoned and collaborative Data Scientist to join our mission of transforming the contact center experience through real-time AI. This new role will serve as a critical bridge between on-shore and off-shore data science teams, helping to mentor junior scientists, drive business-aligned outcomes, and build production-ready AI solutions. You’ll work on cutting-edge technologies including speech-to-text evaluation, LLM fine-tuning, and real-time NLU alerting systems that enhance customer interactions with T-Mobile Care. You will be empowered to lead data science experiment cycles in collaboration with a human annotation team and technical leadership, create novel solutions to complex contact center problems, and make decisions about the implementation based on your expertise.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, or a related field or 2+ years of experience as a data scientist directly collaborating with business stakeholders

Proficiency in Python and Jupyter Notebooks; strong SQL skills for data access and manipulation.

Experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure (AML, Databricks), and GCP.

Familiarity with Spark and Scala; Java and Kubernetes experience are a plus.

Demonstrated experience in deploying models to production environments.

Hands‑on experience with LLMs (fine‑tuning, prompt engineering) and NLU systems.

Familiarity with telecom protocols and network infrastructure is a plus, especially in the context of real‑time data processing and alerting.

Strong communication skills and the ability to translate technical insights into business value.

Top‑notch data science experimentation skills, including exploratory data analysis, proactive problem solving, ideation, critical thinking, problem solving.

Capable of creating business-informed rapid experimentation cycles for model evaluation and development in collaboration with business and technical leadership.

Comfortable working across time zones and managing unusual hours to support global collaboration.

Understanding of data privacy, security, and compliance standards in handling customer interaction data.

Knowledge and hands‑on experience in NLP and NLU (speech‑to‑text is a big plus).

Responsibilities

Collaborate with business and technical leadership to ensure AI initiatives align with strategic objectives.

Collaborate with annotation team to ensure that we are creating truthful, useful data for model development.

Build, evaluate, and refine machine learning models, including speech-to-text and LLM-based summarization systems.

Conduct exploratory data analysis and generate insights to inform model development.

Fine‑tune and prompt engineer state‑of‑the‑art LLMs for enterprise use cases.

Ensure all non‑analytical work is production‑ready and scalable.

Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams to deploy models into real‑time systems.

Monitor model performance and iterate based on feedback and business needs.

Develop and maintain real‑time alerting systems based on NLU and other AI inputs.

Optimize models for latency, accuracy, and reliability in a live contact center environment.

Develop monitoring tools and dashboards to track model performance, latency, and alerting accuracy.

Ensure data privacy and compliance with industry standards when handling customer interaction data.

Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to model performance and data security.

Work closely with the lead data scientist, tech leads, architects, and business stakeholders.

Effectively communicate technical findings to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business goals.
