Role We are beginning our search for a Marketing Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Analytics Team.
Team & Responsibilities The Marketing Analytics team is responsible for crafting data-driven insights to drive business and marketing decisions. We collaborate with departments across the agency to support our partners and clients with synthesized intelligence at every stage of marketing planning, execution, and review.
As a Marketing Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be primarily responsible for site analysis for a variety of clients where you will leverage Adobe and/or Google Analytics to better understand site and consumer performance. You will be responsible for the creation of strategic measurement plans, research and integration of business trends and performance, providing recommendations to enhance both tactical and strategic campaign and business outcomes.
In this role, the Marketing Business Intelligence Analyst supports internal and external teams by translating behavioral data into business insights for our clients. You will work with a variety of data sources where you will hone your skills in connecting the dots between data and business situations to drive marketing insights and recommendations for our clients. Your focus will be understanding the business questions, applying rigorous decision statements with your partners, analyzing the results, and then communicating them back to key business partners.
In addition, the position will also work with the site team, data solution team, and the brand planning team to translate client needs into actionable results and insights. You will learn data visualization skills to develop dashboards that communicate complex data sets into easily digestible dashboards.
Areas of Focus:
Focus on the site performance for our clients where you will leverage best in class tools and develop synergies across digital media channels
Translate cross-channel analysis, reporting & observations into business insights and actionable recommendations
Partner with Carmichael Lynch’s account leads to help consult, strategize and optimize results for the best marketing outcome
Perform deep analysis on clients’ data to discover the right digital experience for their key audiences
Act as a subject matter expert to apply best practices for analyzing clients media and site data
Support monthly client reporting needs

Education & Experience
A bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience in related field such as Marketing Analytics, Business Analysis, Statistics, Advertising, Applied Economics, etc.
0-2 years in marketing analytics, business analytics, or similar agency department
Required Knowledge & Skills
Experience with Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, and/or other web analytics tools
Experience with data visualization (Tableau, Power BI, Domo, Looker, Google Data Studio, etc.)
Strong analytical abilities and quantitative skills
Understanding of the advertising industry and knowledge of how to use media and site performance metrics in an optimization process
Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of Excel
Proven passion, drive, and active knowledge of emerging media and analytics tools
