Sugarloaf Content and Communications Coordinator
Join the Sugarloaf Marketing Team as our next Communications & Content Coordinator—a dynamic role that combines the thrill of mountain adventures with the art of digital storytelling. You’ll lead the daily mountain report, capture photo and video content, and share updates across Sugarloaf’s social channels and website.
The ideal candidate is an excellent writer with social media experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and a genuine passion for skiing or riding in an unparalleled mountain landscape. This role works closely with resort departments and requires weekend availability throughout the winter season.
Responsibilities
Plan, schedule, and monitor content on Sugarloaf’s social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), TikTok, YouTube, and the resort blog.
Secure daily photo as directed by Senior Photographer/Videographer and assist with asset gathering and coordination to support marketing/campaigns and profit center requests.
Assist Resort Content Supervisor in securing talent and manage dedicated shoots to support marketing campaigns/initiatives and profit center requests as directed.
During winter months, show comprehensive understanding of snow reporting process and work in tandem with the Midweek Mountain reporter and Content Supervisor. This individual is considered the “lead” and must be available for snow reporting duties as outlined in the required availability above.
Provide analytics and reporting for all social media platforms and provide recommendations when necessary, in the event of a downward trend.
Have a general understanding of website CMS. Considered “back-up” for marketing coordinator needs.
Qualifications
Proficient writer with an understanding of how to position “snow” to Sugarloafers.
Proficient understanding of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok.
Previous experience capturing photo and video content using a camera.
Proficient in Microsoft & Adobe Suite (Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro).
Experience managing website content in a content management system (preferred but not required).
Able to multi-task and complete projects on time.
Experience in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field.
