KIOXIA America is seeking an SAP BI/BODS Engineer, this is a cross-functional position requiring expertise in SAP BI reporting and BODS applications, as well as experience with Oracle/SQL Server databases and data warehousing processes. Responsibilities include developing SAP BI reports, BODS applications, and databases. The role provides technical guidance and recommendations throughout the systems development life cycle, ensures compliance with IT audit requirements, and analyzes business processes to enhance system efficiency. Additionally, the position involves preparing and presenting project proposals to IT management.

Responsibilities

Worked as ETL Developer and SQL developer using SAP Business Objects Data Integration Data Services (BODI/DS).

Strong experience in design, development, deployment and testing of Universes using Business Object Designer.

Expert in Data Extraction, Transforming and Loading (ETL) and Business Object Web Intelligence reporting.

Experience in automation of jobs through a management console and creating batch jobs based on business requirements.

Strong understanding of data warehouse concepts and multi-dimensional models for query and analysis requirements.

Experienced with SQL queries, views, and stored procedures in Oracle and SQL server databases.

Develop SAP BI universes, BI reports, BODS jobs and PL/SQL programs for business process improvement.

Responsible for designing and development of Universes from Oracle databases.

Performing requirements analysis, design and technical delivery of critical business reports in the data warehouse sitting on top of Oracle database.

Familiar with Oracle EBS modules such as general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, inventory, purchasing, and order management.

Contribute technical ideas and expertise as project team member.

Understand business processes to improve system efficiency.

Design and present project ideas to IT team.

Analyze existing systems, test existing software, perform computer tasks and troubleshoot problems.

Work to develop, test, install, configure and troubleshoot software and databases needed for business.

Coordinate all IT related audit requirements. Work with auditors to facilitate requests.

Qualifications

Bachelor Science degree, plus minimum of 5 years’ experience in related experience required.

Expert in Business Objects, Universe designer, IDT, Data Integration Data Services, SQL, PL/SQL

Proven ability to develop BI reports and BODS jobs to streamline business processes and enhance productivity required.

Comprehensive experience in analyzing, optimizing new and existing systems, developing, testing, installing, configuring, and troubleshooting software and databases required.

Strong collaborative skills to contribute effectively as a project team member.

Strategic thinking to partner with management in developing and executing system strategies.

Proven system architect skills to provide conceptual designs and strategic advice.

Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with auditors, business units, and external IT teams.

The expected hourly rate for this position is $90,930.00 - $151,540.00.
