Federal Work Study - Office of the Provost
Georgia Gwinnett College (GGC) invites a student to serve as the first point of contact in the Office of the Provost. The role supports visitors, deliveries, and provides light administrative duties while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Job Summary Support the Provost’s Office by greeting visitors, answering phones, assisting with clerical tasks, and participating in special projects. The position is a temporary, part‑time opportunity funded by a Federal Work‑Study Award.
Responsibilities
Answer phones and direct callers to the appropriate resource.
Greet internal and external visitors in the Provost’s Office suite.
Perform light administrative support such as making copies, organizing confidential documents, and data entry.
Provide special‑project clerical support.
Assist internal employees with various clerical duties.
Required Qualifications
Must have a Federal Work‑Study Award.
Must be currently enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours at GGC.
Must be in good academic standing and maintain good conduct standing for the duration of employment.
Professional demeanor with excellent customer service skills.
Ability to apply judgment and discretion in performing confidential matters.
Highly organized, attentive to details, time management, and multi‑tasking skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
