Instructional Design Manager – Luxury Jewelry Company
Adecco Creative and Marketing has partnered with a luxury, high-end jewelry company to hire an Instructional Design Manager. This role is a 6‑month contract based in New York City with a hybrid schedule (onsite 4 days/week). The pay rate is $55–$63/hour based on experience.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deliver high‑quality learning programs using instructional design principles, including blended learning, workshops, and digital modules.
Conduct needs assessments and skill gap analyses to identify learning initiatives aligned with business priorities.
Create storyboards, curricula, and learning materials in formats such as Articulate Storyline, Captivate, InDesign, and Canva.
Measure program effectiveness using Kirkpatrick or other ROI/ROE metrics and continuously refine based on data.
Partner with Learning & Development leadership and subject‑matter experts to launch programs across boutique, retail partner, client‑relations, and corporate audiences.
Facilitate instructor‑led, webinar, and on‑site trainings as needed for commercial and corporate audiences.
Present ideas and program results clearly to internal business partners and external stakeholders.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and milestone sign‑offs, ensuring on‑time delivery of complex learning initiatives.
Build strong relationships with cross‑functional partners, subject‑matter experts, and business units to ensure training meets stakeholder needs.
Qualifications
Experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or communications within the luxury or retail market.
Proficiency in adult learning theory and elevated writing skills.
Experience designing and developing learning programs for retail, luxury, or hospitality environments.
Strong knowledge of development tools including Articulate, Storyline, Captivate, InDesign (Microsoft and Adobe Creative Applications), and Canva.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and allocate resources effectively.
Strong decision‑making, problem‑solving, and collaboration skills.
Certifications in Instructional Design, Design Thinking, Kirkpatrick Measurement, or related assessment certifications are a plus.
Experience with LMS platforms and basic HTML/CSS scripting is a plus but not required.
