Job Overview Part Time Data Analyst for Infectious Diseases Clinical Trials Unit at Georgetown University. Enter data into clinical trial sponsor system and internal software. Assist Clinical Research Coordinator, Regulatory Specialist, and Clinical Trial Manager. Perform data entry, test applications, create training materials, and collaborate with clinical staff to meet research process requirements.

Responsibilities

Develop an understanding of research processes.

Document business requirements of research processes.

Partner with clinical staff to help with data requirements of research functions.

Create and document instructions for complex tasks so that others may use as a guideline in the future.

Test applications to confirm intended functionality and identify gaps.

Assist with the creation of user training materials.

Verify that recommended solutions align with research requirements.

Develop understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies.

Effectively communicate with customers, internal resources, and support teams to ensure objectives are met.

Collaborate with clinical and research resources to identify and develop process improvements.

Assist with the testing and implementation of new system functionality.

Participate in cross functional teams to gather clinical and research needs to identify effective solutions.

Perform other projects and duties as assigned by the Clinical Research Manager.

Qualifications

7 years of experience working with clinical trials and supporting a clinical trial research staff, or a similar health care setting.

Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel; Google Gmail, Calendar, and Drive required.

Experience with Workday a plus.

Must possess the ability to communicate effectively and have the capacity to interact with a diverse community and use independent judgement and discretion in determining the best course of action.

Pay close attention to detail, work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Ability to work with large data sets.

Strong knowledge and familiarity of Microsoft Office applications.

Ability to create and document procedures for training materials.

Excellent problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication skills.

5 years of experience working with clinical trials and supporting a 5 year clinical trial research staff, or a similar health care setting.

Work Mode Designation On-Campus

Pay Range $26.26 - $48.32 per hour.
