Responsibilities

Guide families through facility tours and admit patients, completing paperwork and verifying insurance.

Coordinate admission processes with case managers, discharge planners, physicians, and other referral contacts.

Maintain resident census and update census data as facilities goals change.

Conduct market research and develop marketing suggestions for the Admission Committee and facility staff.

Evaluate resident and family satisfaction with the admission process and facility.

Represent the facility at community and civic organization functions, staying current on market changes and communicating admission committee participation.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the admission process.

Ability to communicate effectively with discharge planners, case managers, physicians, referral contacts, families, residents, and staff.

Demonstrated customer service, public relations, public speaking, and independent work skills.

Minimum age 18 years.

English language proficiency (read, write, speak).
