Overview At Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), we are building the next generation of AI applications that transform how enterprises get work done. One of our flagship initiatives is the new Oracle Chat Experience – an intelligent, multi‑agent system designed to help professionals across domains query data, generate insights, and automate workflows through natural language.

Responsibilities As part of the AI Applications team, you will contribute to designing and developing the systems that power this next‑generation experience—integrating Large Language Models (LLMs), retrieval and reasoning pipelines, and enterprise data sources into cohesive, reliable user interactions. You will collaborate with engineers across backend, frontend, and ML domains to ensure the system’s scalability, performance, and operational excellence.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

3+ years of professional software development experience.

Strong coding skills in Python, Java, or Go.

Experience with REST/gRPC APIs, microservices, and cloud‑native architectures.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience building or integrating AI/LLM‑powered applications.

Familiarity with frameworks like LangChain or LangGraph.

Interest in distributed systems, observability, and performance tuning.

Ability to work collaboratively in fast‑paced, cross‑functional environments.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US:

Hiring Range in USD from: $79,200 to $178,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non‑overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

Develop and enhance core components of Oracle Chat, focusing on scalability, reliability, and performance.

Implement APIs, services, and integrations that connect AI models, orchestration layers, and enterprise systems.

Partner with product and design teams to deliver high‑quality, intuitive conversational and workflow experiences.

Maintain production health through observability, testing, and proactive monitoring.

Participate in design and code reviews, helping improve system quality and maintainability.
