Join us to thrive as a trusted and critical point of contact for delivering F‑22 mission planning, sensor programming, and system administration success at Langley Air Force Base, Virginia. We implement capabilities using an expansive suite of mission planning software and hardware to provide direct sustainment support for our Air Force customers.
What You Will Be Doing
Use your communication skills to work directly with F‑22 Pilots, Maintainers, Communications Security, and System Security to accomplish operational mission planning, sensor programming and post‑mission debrief support.
Use your technical skills to provide collaborative support, assistance, and guidance to the squadron weapons officer with establishing & maintaining F‑22 mission data sensor scenarios.
Use your troubleshooting skills to resolve anomalies across the mission planning hardware and software suite as the System Administrator.
In this world‑wide deployable position, you will travel to numerous locations around the country and have opportunities to travel the world working with the top F‑22 pilots in the U.S. Air Force.
You may be required to work odd hours, nights or weekends in support of flying operations but with smart, flexible scheduling you’ll maintain a great quality of life.
This position requires CompTIA Security+ certification within six months upon hiring. The certification must remain current through continuing education.
You must be a US Citizen as this position is in a special access program facility. You must possess an active Secret clearance prior to starting.

Desired skills

Engineering or computer science degree
Experience with design or test of 4th or 5th generation avionics/sensors
Experience with Tactical Data Links
Experience with Linux, UNIX, or Solaris operating systems
Mission planning experience with aircraft or weapon systems
Computer hardware/software troubleshooting experience
Security+ Certification
COMSEC/Crypto familiarization
