Security Engineer
located in the Durham, NC area. The
Security Engineer
role sits within the security team where they leverage their analytical, monitoring, triage and infrastructure skills. The
Security Engineer
provides mentorship and technical guidance to SOC analysts to support their development in security analysis and incident investigation.
Responsibilities
Support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of web application security scanning tools and processes
Contribute to the analysis of operational environments and provide recommendations for enhancing existing processes
Support the deployment and oversight of essential infrastructure systems critical to core business operations
Qualifications
Must be eligible to hold a Secret Clearance
1+ years’ experience in security engineering
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure
Background working with RMF and NIST
Proven proficiency in languages such as Python
Compensation
$80,000 – $104,000 annually with a comprehensive benefit: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, PTO, holidays, sick leave as required by law
Hybrid work environment – 2 days on-site
