About The Role As a CBRE Executive Protection Director/Driver, you will provide professional, discreet, and comprehensive executive protection services to ensure the safety, security, and smooth logistical operations for the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of CBRE. The Executive Protection Director/Driver will serve as the primary point of security contact and logistical coordination for all CEO movements and protective requirements.

What You’ll Do Secure Transportation & Protective Escort Provide or coordinate daily secure transportation for the CEO, including: morning pick‑up from residence and evening drop‑off; transportation to and from business meetings, events, and functions; maintain constant situational awareness during all movements; conduct route planning and real‑time risk assessment for all destinations; maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times.

Travel Security Coordination Coordinate all domestic and international travel logistics in conjunction with the executive support and security teams; be available to conduct advance planning, including site surveys, venue security assessments, and threat analyses; establish contact with local law enforcement, security vendors, and protective partners as required; provide physical security coverage or coordinate trusted local executive protection services while traveling.

Readiness and Flexibility Remain on‑call and be prepared to travel with the CEO on short notice, both domestically and internationally; maintain a high level of operational readiness at all times; adapt to changing schedules, priorities, and environments without compromise to security or service.

Vehicle Maintenance and Safety Ensure the executive vehicle is always in top mechanical condition; schedule and document regular maintenance and inspections; maintain vehicle cleanliness and readiness for immediate deployment; conduct daily vehicle checks, including fuel, tires, lights, and emergency equipment.

Threat Monitoring and Risk Assessment Stay informed of current global and regional threat levels using reliable intelligence and security channels; proactively identify potential threats that may impact the CEO’s safety; provide briefings and advisories to the appropriate personnel as needed.

Administrative and Reporting Duties Document all movements, incidents, or anomalies encountered during shifts; maintain a confidential log of CEO itineraries, protective operations, and coordination with external agencies; submit regular status reports and participate in security team briefings.

What You’ll Need Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred. 10+ years of experience in law enforcement. Must be able to carry a firearm in all 50 states by being an honorably retired law enforcement officer or active licensed peace officer and qualified to carry a firearm under the Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act. Candidates must meet the definition of a “Qualified Retired Law Enforcement Officer” under the LEOSA. This includes separation from service in good standing with a public law enforcement agency and compliance with all LEOSA criteria, including annual firearms qualification and possession of appropriate photographic identification. Must possess a valid and active passport at the time of hire. Requires the ability to meet physical demands including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting/carrying loads of 50 lbs. or more. Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams. Strong knowledge of security technologies and best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Valid security or firearms licenses may be required depending on location.

Preferred Skills Certification from a recognized executive protection training program. Experience with high‑net‑worth individuals or corporate executives. Familiarity with cybersecurity and digital safety measures. Professional driving and/or defensive driving certifications.
