Hansell Tierney is currently seeking a
Senior Project Manager
to lead a critical upgrade of a mission-essential Customer Information System (CIS) for our public sector client. This project involves moving from Oracle Customer Care & Billing (CC&B) version 2.7 to version 25.4 in an on-premises environment, supporting key utility operations.
Location:
Remote (Washington-based preferred)
Length of Assignment:
12 months with chance of extension
Compensation Range:
$60 per hour – $90 per hour

In this role, you will:
Provide project management leadership for the CC&B application upgrade and related initiatives.
Oversee hardware and infrastructure refresh efforts.
Direct redevelopment of integrations and validation of 100+ reports.
Manage project scope, schedule, risks, resources, and vendor deliverables.
Act as the primary liaison between business units, technical teams, and leadership stakeholders.
Communicate project progress, risks, and milestones to executive sponsors.
What We’re Looking For: Must Have:
Proven experience in the implementation or upgrade of Oracle Customer Care & Billing (CCB).
Strong track record of delivering complex IT projects on time and within budget.
Familiarity with both on-premises and cloud-based systems, particularly in implementation and upgrade contexts.
Nice to Have:
Prior experience working on large-scale technology projects for public sector organizations.
Background working in the utility sector, with experience in both water and electric services.
