As a Director, Client Solutions Partner, you will lead a cross‑functional team servicing Fortune 500 clients from the world’s leading brands. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing and growing client relationships with key stakeholders, anticipate client needs, and partner with Pace’s creative and strategy leads to provide highly valued business insights.
Responsibilities
Learn clients’ full business goals, competitive landscape, target audience and internal dynamics.
Push clients intellectually and develop innovative, unforeseen solutions to business problems.
Work with Pace senior leadership and client teams on account‑level marketing/development plans.
Identify growth opportunities within existing client relationships and present new ideas to generate additional revenue.
Develop a strong POV on marketing practice, understand clients’ marketing and brand strategy, and integrate Pace’s marketing solutions to meet those needs.
Own client briefs and act as a strategic adviser, driving toward established goals and keeping the team on track.
Advocate for great work on behalf of clients, internal teams and Pace.
Drive team collaboration to identify new business growth opportunities and solve pertinent client/account issues.
Motivate and mentor team members to elevate thinking, provide exceptional quality and service of work, and mobilize resources to meet account requirements.
Provide strategic guidance for multi‑discipline working teams in prioritization and execution of client work.
Monitor overall process, note areas for improvement, implement solutions, and plan timely, team‑friendly execution.
With the Project Manager, contribute to project timeline development and manage the client budget, proactively reporting on forecast and spend.
Participate in new business generation as requested.
Manage profit and loss responsibility for assigned clients and financial forecasting.
Ensure delivery of financial goals, appropriately resourcing against projects, providing accurate financial projections and identifying organic program growth opportunities.
Be aware of competition and market factors that could impact the agency‑client relationship or financial performance.
Monitor industry trends to anticipate client needs.
Qualifications
BA in Marketing, Communications or related field (advanced degree is a bonus).
Minimum 10 years of experience in account services within the marketing agency world.
Demonstrated ability to lead a team in a highly collaborative environment to develop and execute digital marketing and content strategies for clients.
Large budget management experience (minimum $1 million).
A proven history of strategic account planning and management, growing key accounts.
Strategic thinking and ability to see the big picture.
Strong leadership skills; empowering others to be their best.
Creative problem solving.
Strong strategic, analytical and effective problem‑solving skills.
Exceptional written and verbal communication.
Strong project management and time management skills.
Demonstrated budget management experience for client projects, including prior experience developing fees and budget allocation models.

Ability to travel occasionally to attend in‑person client meetings.
Fluency in media and paid PR planning, buying and reporting is a nice‑to‑have.
History of collaboration with media buying partners, creative, analytics and strategy teams to manage budgets, contracts and campaign timelines that align with client objectives and deliver cohesive paid media outcomes.
